Why the counter still exists
Supplements are over the counter. The questions usually aren’t.
The mix matters more than the bottle
St. John’s wort, high-dose vitamin K, and some “energy” blends collide with everyday prescriptions. A two-minute chat is cheaper than guessing from a forum.
Dose on the label is not your dose
Vitamin D, iron, and melatonin get overshot because the bottle looks harmless. We’ll look at labs you already have, or tell you when to ask your clinician for one.
We will tell you not to buy it
If the evidence is thin, the dose is theater, or it duplicates what you’re already taking, you’ll hear that. Hartland does not pay pharmacists to upsell the aisle.
